While Romanza may be on hiatus from our Monthly Gatherings, we continue to work on our two big events, the Celtic Music and Heritage Festival and Romanza Week in 2013.

Historic City News readers in St Augustine and St Johns County are asking, “Who benefits from the bed tax?”
Historic City News editor Michael Gold announced that an editorial board will convene on Friday morning, July 20, to interview candidates competing for seats in, or including, St Johns County if their name appears on the upcoming August 24 Primary Election ballot.
In an article that appeared on Scripps Interactive Newspapers Group yesterday, Historic City News takes note of a local government official in Vero Beach who had the moral courage, in the words of the late sheriff Neil Perry, “to make the right choice, at the right time, for the right reason”.
