Highway Patrol seeks witnesses of traffic homicide
The Florida Highway Patrol in St Johns County is asking Historic City News readers to come forward if they witnessed the Thursday evening crash at about 9:15 p.m. just south of Marlin Avenue on SR-A1A that left one Ponte Vedra Beach bicyclist dead.



Historic City News readers are being asked for their assistance in locating a 79-year-old Palm Coast man who went missing this morning around 9:30 a.m.
Monday morning, shortly before 2:30 a.m., Historic City News learned of a home invasion robbery at a residence in the 600 block of Francis Street in St Augustine when Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene.
Matthew Sara informed local Historic City News reporters that at approximately 6:00 a.m. this morning, St Johns County Fire Rescue responded to single-wide mobile home fire in the 1400 block of West Street, near SR-207.
Quick action by St Augustine Police resulted in the capture of a man authorities say pulled a robbery at the downtown branch of the Bank of America, located at 60 Cathedral Place.
This afternoon at 3:00 p.m., Amber the Dog received justice when her former owner, Randel Bryan Hart, was sentenced to begin serving 364 days in the St Johns County Detention Facility, and other conditions ordered by Circuit Court Judge Michael Traynor.
District 23rd Medical Examiner, Dr. Predrag Bulic, has confirmed the identity of the man found inside Apartment 7 at 20 First Street in St Augustine yesterday using the victim’s dental records.
