An 84-year-old man living off Lewis Speedway, north of St Augustine, was attacked in the early evening hours of Saturday January 12, and St Johns County Sheriff’s detectives are asking Historic City News readers for assistance identifying his assailant.

Mulligan, but from a very unlikely scene — a guest room of the Sawgrass Marriott luxury golf resort and spa in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Historic City News and regional television reporters were at the scene this morning as investigators from the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board arrived in Palm Coast to survey the damage and locate clues that may tell why a 55-year-old Bonanza aircraft fell from the sky yesterday.
