Man says he’s shot — turns machete on responders
Public Information Officer Debra Johnson told local St. Johns County reporters with Historic City News that deputies in Flagler County have arrested a Daytona North man who called to report that he had been shot in the head.



Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that a 41-year old St. Johns County man has been arrested on charges of improper exhibition of a firearm and resisting arrest without violence early this morning.
Historic City News has received word that yesterday afternoon; two Georgia men were taken into custody and charged with attempting to pass counterfeit currency.
Historic City News learned that, last night, an off-duty Flagler Beach patrolman was arrested for driving under the influence after Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies found him passed out in his personal vehicle in the Daytona North area around 5:20 p.m.
Historic City News was informed that a large volume of police calls, reviewed over the last four months, has the Davis Shores neighborhood “up in arms” and police up before the commission Monday to report on those concerns.
Historic City News was on the scene of a three-car collision that occurred on North Ponce de Leon Boulevard at about 7:00 p.m. today.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office told Historic City News reporters that they will be conducting a stepped up campaign this weekend to identify impaired drivers.
Historic City News reporters received an update from St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Kevin Kelshaw regarding a hotel guest who appears to have fallen to his death this morning.
