St. Johns River Community College Criminal Justice Academy Director, Scott Lancaster, reported to Historic City News that St. Johns County Sheriff David Shoar was the guest speaker at ceremonies held in Orange Park recognizing the academy’s recent graduates.

William Freeman reported to Historic City News that a video of Jacques Cousteau, the world famous explorer, made during his 1985 visit to St. Augustine, is available as a free download on his website; booksonnet.com.

City should let the market decide taxi fares

I want to applaud the city commission for their unanimous decision to allow taxi cab operators in St. Augustine the option to establish their own method of calculating the fares they charge their customers.
