St. Johns County Office of Public Affairs spokesperson Karen Pan reported to Historic City News that the third annual Winter Wonderland festival will return starting November 20th and will be running through January 3rd.

Traffic interruptions downtown Saturday

Public Information Coordinator Cathy DuPont alerted Historic City News that this Saturday’s St. Augustine Pirate Gathering parade will necessitate some minor interruptions of traffic along the city’s Bayfront, Cordova Street and the area around the Plaza.

5 alcohol sales violations cited

Sheriff’s spokesman Kevin Kelshaw reported to Historic City News that on Veterans Day, the Youth Services Unit of the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office conducted an alcohol compliance detail as part of “The Party’s Over” campaign.

St. Augustine Visitors and Convention Bureau Communications Director, Jay Humphreys, warned Historic City News readers to be on the lookout for pirates descending on St. Augustine for The Pirate Gathering this weekend.

Mooring field hearing December 14th

Historic City News noted concerns expressed by several residents that “there are still many questions to be answered,” however, the St. Augustine City Commission voted Monday night to advance the proposed harbor management plan to a public hearing and final action.

Parking limit will change to 3 hours

The city commission gave approval to change the on-street parking limit from two to three hours at their regular meeting Monday night.
