Storm-water reserves may pay for Riberia project

Historic City News will be watching as St. Augustine City Commissioners meet on Monday evening at 5:00 p.m. in the Alcazar Room at City Hall to consider a transfer of $3.4 million from storm-water reserves to begin the Riberia Street improvement project in January.

The City of St. Augustine notified Historic City News reporters that federal economic stimulus funds have been used in the construction of a sidewalk along West Castillo Drive from Ponce de Leon Boulevard to San Marco Avenue.
