A tax by any other name is still a tax

Collections of the “tax” that was first sold to St Johns County residents in 1986 as “the tax you will never have to pay” are up a half-million dollars over last year; that according to a report obtained by Historic City News on Friday.

Public Information Officer Matthew Sara reported an industrial fire to Historic City News at about 12:44 p.m. today after St Johns County Fire Rescue crews responded to the Hydro-Aluminum plant located at 200 Riviera Boulevard in St Augustine.
