The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind reported to Historic City News that three employers were honored during its first annual “Outstanding Employer of the Year” event on May 30; recognizing campus and business partners that participate in the school’s Career Development Program.
A mural, “The Secret River” based on the book of the same name by Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, produced by a group of 15 children of all ages and led by regional artist Eddie White, will be featured when the St Johns County Public Library debuts an exhibit of artworks from all parts of the county.
