Archaeological Association speaker Carl Halbirt

St. Augustine Public Information Coordinator Cathy DuPont informed local Historic City News reporters that City Archeologist Carl Halbirt will be the guest speaker at the St. Augustine Archaeological Association October meeting.

Fort Mose site of Garrison re-enactment

Florida State Park Ranger Terri Newmans announced to local Historic City News reporters that on October 30th, members of the St. Augustine Garrison will present an 18th-century, historical interpretation at Fort Mose State Historic Park.

Flagler College alumni show artistic talents

The Rotunda Gallery at the St. Johns County Administration Building will be exhibiting “Morning Brew”, a mixed media show by Flagler College alumni, from October 19, 2010 through January 19, 2011.

Wiley Deck, Area Representative for U.S. Representative John L. Mica, reported to Historic City News that the Congressman will address and participate in the dedication of the new St. Johns County Council on Aging intermodal Transit Center in St. Augustine tomorrow.

Blue Sky Fish Fry October 17th

Pat Greenfield, Secretary of the Republican Club of Greater St. Augustine, reported to Historic City News that St. Johns County Young Republicans are sponsoring an old fashioned fish fry at Blue Sky Farms.

Sexual Predator: Robert Richard Sanzone

In accordance with Florida State Statute 775.21, this news release will serve as public notification that the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office has been given information that a person judged to be a sexual predator is now residing within St. Johns County.
