Historic City News received a report from Community Affairs Officer Barbara Clifford of the St. Augustine Police Department that a patron at Nobby’s Tavern, located at 10 Anastasia Boulevard, became the victim of an aggravated battery only minutes before the city’s 1:00 a.m. closing time.

Historic City News has learned that an 11 year-old girl was walking into the Little Champ parking lot at 118 King Street when she was approach by a homeless man — asking for sex.

Community Affairs Officer Barbara Clifford of the St. Augustine Police Department reported to Historic City News that an investigation is ongoing into a shooting that occurred yesterday afternoon.

They gather monthly in a conference room at the County Health Center, reviewing progress made and searching for better ways to lower the hurdles faced by ex-offenders leaving jail.
