Historic City News was updated by Bill McClure, St Johns County Commissioner for District 3, that during today’s meeting of the Board of County Commissioners, an additional $1 million dollars was approved for local contracts to be awarded for household debris removal following Hurricane Matthew.



US Congressman Ron DeSantis has contacted FEMA Administrator Craig Fugate today in an effort to further expedite opening of Disaster Recovery Centers and Business Recovery Centers in District 6 under the operational direction of both the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Small Business Administration.
