There have been a total of 1,887 COVID-19 tests administered for St Johns County.  Of those, 127-patients tested positive.  Of the remainder, Historic City News has learned that 1,719-patients tested negative, we are awaiting results on 41, and 1-test was inconclusive.

At about 7:53 p.m., Thursday, February 6, 2020, a reported stalking victim, first told her story to a deputy sheriff investigating her complaint against local dentist, 74-year-old Clemens H. Byatt.  On Wednesday, April 1, 2020, deputy Dominic Russo was again called to the residence of the victim.

Elections office is open with limited public access to the lobby

St Johns County Supervisor of Elections Vicky Oakes contacted Historic City News this morning to announce that, due to health and safety concerns of our employees and the public, and, in response to COVID-19, the Elections Office will allow only limited public access to the building thru May 1st.
