Officers from the St. Augustine Police Department and the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Department are currently serving 25 Notices to Appear to individuals for violations of the Florida Beverage Statutes. These charges resulted from a six-week operation conducted by the Departments.

North Davis Shores residents have been resilient in their efforts to call attention to the numerous zoning issues throughout the city; and in particular the property known as the “castle” at 100 Flagler Boulevard. Current zoning does not align with current and historical property usage of this and many other properties.

Payments in lieu of taxes are voluntary payments made by some colleges as a gesture of good will to help a city offset the loss of property taxes and to help defray the cost of services provided by the city. In no way should they be confused with fees and they are not assessed.
Gamble Rogers park will double camping capacity
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Park Service informed Historic City News local reporters that the Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area at Flagler Beach boasts the highest occupancy rate of any campground in the Florida Park Service.
