The St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce has awarded several members of St. Johns County’s business elite for their participation in strengthening the local business community, according to an announcement received by Historic City News from president and chief executive officer, Isabelle Rodriguez.
On Thursday, October 19th at approximately 11:52a.m. Officer R. Kelly with the St. Augustine Beach Police Department was dispatched to the Ameris Bank located at 2060 A1A South.
Tuesday November 7, 2017 is Election Day in St. Johns County but ONLY for the voters of the Town of Hastings. This election is open to all registered voters who reside within the incorporated limits of the Town of Hastings.

Master Sergeant Dylan L. Bryan, Public Information Officer for Troop G, informed local Historic City News reporters that charges are pending in the death of a 17-year-old Ponte Vedra Beach student, killed in a single vehicle crash Tuesday morning.
Historic City News was informed that at about 8:00 p.m. on Halloween night, St Augustine Police were dispatched to a disturbance call on Dr Martin Luther King Avenue near Lovett Street in Lincolnville.
One of St Augustine’s favorite breakfast and lunch restaurants was the victim of picketing by Flagler College students; then later in the day, members of the extremist group, Black Lives Matter.
Historic City News was informed by Community Affairs Officer Dee Brown that Saturday evening about 8:00 p.m., local police in St Augustine responded to a physical disturbance call on Anderson Circle around the American Legion Hall.
