Community Awareness Coordinator Kim Brumfield announced to Historic City News that invitations for the annual Betty Griffin House benefit fashion show luncheon are headed for the mailbox this week.
The “Town Crier Committee”, a group of members of the St Augustine Tea Party, told Historic City News local reporters that they attended the First Friday Art Walk event on August 5th.

Carlee Mausner informed local reporters with Historic City News that St. Augustine has been selected by “Where to Retire” magazine as a “top retirement town” and will be profiled in the September-October issue; available nationwide on August 23rd.
When the City of St. Augustine Commission convenes Monday, Historic City News readers will learn if the hibiscus will become the city’s official flower and if “red and yellow” will be designated as the official city colors, among other things.
