Supervisor and assistant work on last election
St. Johns County Supervisor of Elections, Penny Halyburton, and Assistant Supervisor Vicky Oakes, spoke to Historic City News Editor Michael Gold today; as they worked on their last election together before Halyburton retires on August 31st.





St. Johns County Republican Party Chairman Harlan Mason reported to Historic City News that tomorrow night, the Republican Executive Committee will convene an election to fill the vacancy of Corresponding Secretary.
September marks the 14th Annual Columbia Restaurant Community Harvest program and Historic City News has learned that 5% of all guests’ lunch and dinner checks will be donated to the charitable organization of their choice.
