Nine graduates receive citizenship award
The St. Augustine City Commission reported to Historic City News that they will present their annual Citizenship Award to a senior from each of St. Johns County’s high schools in recognition of their leadership and service to their school, community and fellow students.






Public Information Officer Debra Johnson is asking Historic City News readers to assist Flagler County deputies to locate a Palm Coast man wanted in connection with a Wednesday evening shooting into a Palm Coast home.


Apparently not buying the story that his ex-wife shot Jesse “Pee Wee” Whitley, Historic City News has learned that the jury returned a “guilty” verdict against Steven Leslie Stanaland Jr. today — after less than one hour of deliberation.
Public Information Officer Mark Samson reported to Historic City News that the St. Augustine Police Department will join local and national law enforcement officers across the country for the 2011 national “Click It or Ticket” seat belt enforcement mobilization, May 23-June 5.
