Last week, St. Johns County Sheriff’s investigators were requested by Nassau County Sheriff Tommy Seagraves to assist the agency in conducting an internal investigation, according to reports received by Historic City News.
The Board of Directors of the Children’s Museum of St. Johns, Inc. announced to Historic City News that Susan Connor has assumed chief executive duties of the non-profit volunteer organization; becoming its first executive director and the museum’s first paid employee.
Historic City News was informed that the International Society for Krishna Consciousness of Alachua will conduct their sixth annual “Festival of the Chariots” parade and cultural event on Saturday, March 26th in the Plaza of St. Augustine starting at 11:00 a.m. and lasting through the afternoon.
Rosemary Messina, vice president of sales and marketing, reported to Historic City News today that ICI Homes will formally open the new state-of-the-art swim and fitness center at Palencia.
Community Affairs Officer Barbara Stevens reported to Historic City News that for the second time in the past thirty days, the St. Augustine Police Department has made arrests incidental to serving a search warrant at a residence on the corner of Flagler Boulevard and Gerado Street in Davis Shores.
