In a meeting attended by Historic City News and city officials yesterday, Assistant County Administrator Jerry Cameron said that he’s learned one thing since coming to work for St. Johns County — it’s more fun to say “yes” than it is to say “no”.
Historic City News sat in with City and County officials this afternoon, as both sides of a sometimes contentious contract over the management of the Willie Galimore Center came to the table at City Hall.
Community Affairs Officer Barbara Stevens reported to Historic City News that just after 7:30 p.m. Friday evening, officers from the St. Augustine Police Department took 18 year-old Hudson Patrick Crace into custody and have charged him with 15 counts of criminal mischief.

Jeremy Robshaw, Public Information Officer with St. Johns County Fire Rescue, informed Historic City News local reporters that emergency personnel responded to a residential structure fire in Flagler Estates in the wee-hours of the morning.
President Becky Reichenberg told Historic City News local reporters that St. Johns Federated Republican Women will host Senate President Mike Haridopolos at this month’s meeting.
The National Park Service says that they are not certain whether bones discovered outside the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument are human or not, however, samples have been sent for forensic identification.
