National monument volunteers honored

Historic City News received notice from the U.S. Department of Justice that a 45 year-old New York City man that was operating a wide-reaching sex trafficking ring in Jacksonville, now faces a maximum penalty of two consecutive life sentences plus 35 years in federal prison for his crimes.
American Council of Engineering Companies notified Historic City News this afternoon that Reynolds, Smith & Hills, Inc. of Jacksonville is a finalist in the 45th annual Engineering Excellence Awards competition for restoring the historic Bridge of Lions.
Historic City News listened as St. Johns County Administrator Michael Wanchick put commissioners on-point Tuesday regarding the un-manned Fire Station 15; calling for a decision concerning staffing.
