Conviction in federal sex-trafficking case
Historic City News received notice from the U.S. Department of Justice that a 45 year-old New York City man that was operating a wide-reaching sex trafficking ring in Jacksonville, now faces a maximum penalty of two consecutive life sentences plus 35 years in federal prison for his crimes.

Police shut down Davis Shores drug house
Community Affairs Officer Barbara Stevens reported to Historic City News that the St. Augustine Police Department has shutdown an alleged drug house after serving a search warrant at a residence on the corner of Flagler Boulevard and Gerado Street in Davis Shores.
