Contract Awarded for Aviles Street Project

The City of St. Augustine reported to local Historic City News reporters that they have awarded the Aviles Street Rehabilitation Project to Gibbs & Register, Inc., of Winter Garden in the amount of $206,500.

David B. Shoar, St. Johns County Sheriff It has been nearly 46 years since a hurricane struck the first coast directly from the east and that hurricane, Hurricane Dora, has been the only one to strike from the east since records have been kept dating back to 1851.
