Two arrested for exploiting the elderly

Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw reported to the local St. Johns County news desk that two Putnam County residents were arrested early Thursday morning in Palatka on outstanding warrants for allegedly exploiting the elderly.

Computer stolen in residential break-in

The local St. Augustine news desk has learned that at about 7:45 Friday morning, Police Officer Frank Shipp responded to the area of the 20th block of Madeore Street to investigate a residential burglary that occurred sometime Sunday between 9:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

St. Johns County, in partnership with the City of St. Augustine and Florida Department of Transportation, is pleased to announce West King Street is now re-open to two-way traffic.

Shad donates Nissan to Betty Griffin House raffle

St. Johns County local news reporters learned that Mike Shad Nissan, on Cassat Avenue in Jacksonville, has donated a 2009 Nissan Altima to benefit the Betty Griffin House.
