City’s reverse-osmosis water plant opened

In an an announcement from Cathy DuPont, Department of Public Affairs – City of St. Augustine, Historic City News learned that city officials will dedicate the new Water Treatment Plant in a ribbon cutting set for Wednesday, October 22nd at 10:00 a.m.

Street closings for Shriner’s Parade

Historic City News learned that a parade sponsored by the St. Augustine Shrine Club will be held along San Marco Avenue on Saturday, October 25 in conjunction with the St. Augustine Shrine Club Ceremonial.

Early voting schedule announced

In an announcement received by Historic City News from Jenny O’Dell, Director of Public Information & Voter Education for the St. Johns County Supervisor of Election, we received the schedule for the 2008 General Election.
