On June 23rd, Historic City News obtained a copy of Senate Bill 2500A as approved by Governor Rick Scott. The governor’s veto was applied to certain funding requests, the remainder move forward.

Historic City News was informed by the Florida Highway Patrol that a Lakeland, Georgia couple, 46-year-old Nathaniel F. Davis and his wife, 41-year-old Leslie S. Davis, lost their lives in a two-vehicle collision Friday night near the Northeast Florida Regional Airport at St Augustine.
Historic City News has confirmed that, on May 21st, City Manager John Regan notified the remaining 450th Commemoration employees that their positions will end on September 30, 2015. The termination notices were hand delivered.
