Robbery and shooting at Applebees

A male suspect is being sought in connection with a robbery and shooting at a SR 312 restaurant late Sunday night according to a media alert received by Historic City News this morning. Deputies responded to a report of a shooting of the female manager of Applebees at 11:15 p.m. Sunday.

Sheriff takes lead in Interstate shootings

Sgt. Charles Mulligan with the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office has informed Historic City News that after coordinated discussions with The Florida Highway Patrol, the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office will take the lead investigative position in last nights Interstate shooting incidents.

Arrest on police impersonation charges

Wednesday night, a 21-year old St. Johns County man was arrested on charges of impersonating a police officer, carrying a concealed firearm and use of a firearm while committing a felony according to records from the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office that were supplied to Historic City News by Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw.
