The Board of Directors of the Children’s Museum of St. Johns updated Historic City News yesterday with a summary on ideas and suggestions developed during their Community Roundtable Meetings.
At approximately 11:30 last night, Historic City News was updated that a missing jet skier came ashore near the St. Augustine Beach Resort in St. Augustine Beach. “He is well and being reunited with his family” according to SJSO SGT Chuck Mulligan.

Historic City News learned this evening that the St. Johns County Health and Human Services Department has invited the public to join them for parenting classes, conveniently offered at a variety of times in several locations.
Historic City News has been informed that the St. Johns County Library System is seeking public input for development of their Strategic Plan.
Hopefully lessons can be learned from catastrophic events and such is the case after Hurricane Katrina slammed New Orleans. It was realized afterward that most all the street signs were either damaged or lost and emergency vehicles could not identify where they were in the debris filled streets of New Orleans.
