Crocodile Rock – the party of the year!
Historic City News has been informed that on Saturday, October 10, 2008, 6:30 pm at The Alligator Farm, EPIC community services will celebrate their 35th anniversary with a spectacular 1970’s show — Crocodile Rock; hosted by Sheriff David “Elton John” Shoar.

The St. Johns County Public Library System is launching MyLibraryDV, a new on-demand video service that transforms local library cards into virtual movie tickets according to an announcement received from Library Director Debra Rhodes-Gibson by Historic City News.

Historic City News was informed today that St. Augustine has been named a top 10 Destination by American Express — one of only two American destinations selected, according to Jay Humphreys, Communications Director for the Visitors and Convention Bureau.

The St. Johns County Public Library System has announced to Historic City News that it will be closed from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 13th.

Historic City News reminds our readers that the Florida Heritage Book Festival scheduled for September 12th through 13th offers a great opportunity to meet and learn from dozens of authors.
