The St Johns County School District announced to local Historic City News reporters that Fruit Cove Middle School principal, Steve McCormick, and Ponte Vedra High School assistant principal, Jewel Johnson, have been selected to receive this year’s principal and assistant principal achievement awards.

Academy Graduates Remembered

Last Saturday, the West Point Society of North Florida held their annual ceremony at the St Augustine National Cemetery to commemorate the end of the Florida-Indian wars, and honor those, including West Point graduates, who perished in them.
Next year, for the first time, “Internet Use Disorder” will be listed in the appendix of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders and the treatment, if not the cure, is nature.
Charlie Myers informed local Historic City News reporters in St Augustine that members of Detachment 383 of the Marine Corps League, is faithfully delivering monthly coffee and donut treats to the veterans at the local VA Outpatient Clinic.
