Visit the Bahamas without leaving the airport
Historic City News readers are invited to visit the Northeast Florida Regional Airport Saturday, June 2, when our local 12,000 square-foot “state-of-the-art” airline terminal will be transformed into a Bahamian island paradise as part of “Destination Bahamas” events.

Public Affairs Specialist Blair Heusdens reported to Historic City News that approximately twenty-six St Augustine based soldiers are preparing to depart for a yearlong deployment overseas.
James Augustine Ponce Sr. passed in his sleep peacefully on Monday, May 28, 2012, to join his wife, Jaqueline Swain Ponce, in the arms of Jesus. His son, James, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth were by his bedside.
