Civil Air Patrol leaders honored
The St Augustine Civil Air Patrol Composite Squadron reported to Historic City News that their Commander, Ralph Aviles, was recently promoted to the rank of Major by Civil Air Patrol Group Two Commander, Lt. Col. Christopher Duemmel, during ceremonies held at the Northeast Florida Regional Airport Conference Center.

Flagler adjunct debuts first published novel
Former Flagler College adjunct English professor, Laura Smith, will launch her debut novel, “Heart of Palm,” with a reading in the college’s Flagler Room at 6:30 p.m. on April 5 and all Historic City News readers are invited to attend.
