Historic City News has learned through the Public Affairs communique “The St. Augustine Report” that Monday night’s city commission meeting – its first regular session in a month – will be dominated by six public hearings.

According to reliable sources, Historic City News has learned that there were over 1000 people total who attended the Tax Day Tea Party at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument today between 12:00 noon and 5:00 p.m.

Historic City News learned that the Tax Day Tea Party is a national collaborative grassroots effort, born of the frustration of seeing where our tax dollars are being spent.

Six roadway projects in St. Johns County totaling $7,469,449 were recommended for funding on the list submitted by FDOT to the Florida Legislative Budget Commission for review and approval according to a report received by Historic City News this morning.

Governor Charlie Crist today announced to Historic City News three appointments to the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission.
