Burglar awakens resident while rummaging through fridge

This morning at about 8:30 a.m., St Augustine Police responded to a 911-call reporting a burglary in progress while the resident was inside the home. Xavier Aaron Williams and Zared Anthony Matthews arrested

Two arrests have been made and two others are in custody in the fatal shooting on Cowan Road that occurred at about 1:30 a.m. yesterday morning.  The investigation of gunshots fired led to the discovery of one dead male body; found outside the residence by the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office.
