About 8:52 a.m. this morning, Historic City News was informed that a 2012 school bus, driven by 69-year-old Richard Paproski of St Johns, was stopped northbound in the right travel lane on US-1, north of Pine Island Road, with its safety lights activated.

The defendant in the April 29 domestic violence incident that occurred in the 1300 block of Wildwood Drive in St Augustine, has been discharged from the hospital and Historic City News has been informed that he has been taken to the St Johns County Jail, booked, and remains in custody in lieu of $108,000.00 bond.

Jordan Leigh Henries, indicted by a St Johns County Grand Jury in March 2017, pled “no contest” in circuit court Monday to reduced charges of manslaughter with a firearm, a first-degree felony.  She had been indicted on a single count of second-degree murder; stemming from the shooting death of 29-year-old Jeffrey “Stephen” Lee.
