At about 2:10 a.m. this morning, Flagler deputies responded to a shooting call in Palm Coast. Historic City News has learned that one of the two robbers engaged in the home invasion was shot by the resident and killed at the scene; while a second has thus far escaped capture.

Historic City News readers love Florida nostalgia, and this month, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles is bringing back a little nostalgia of their own, when the once popular “Arrive Alive” front license plates return to Florida Highway Patrol vehicles.
Surveillance video was released to Historic City News today of two men as they burglarized the Dunkin Donuts, 7400 block of US-1 North, near Palencia at about 9:20 p.m. on the evening of June 30, 2016.

Flagler County Sheriff’s Director James Troiano cautioned Historic City News readers that 52-related car burglaries occurred overnight and early Thursday morning at four locations in Flagler County.
