Firefighter injured during early morning fire

Reported this morning before 5:00 a.m., St Johns County Fire Rescue responded to popular St Augustine restaurant, Ned’s Southside Kitchen, where the owner, Ned Pollock, told reporters that he still is not certain what caused the blaze which may have started in a dry storage area.

Last night at about 7:00 p.m., Historic City News learned that Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Sergeant with the Bunnell Police Department; following a three-month long investigation into allegations that the officer used a fraudulent facebook account to exploit a child to obtain illegal computer pornography.

St Augustine Beach Police and sheriff’s deputies combed Sea Grove subdivision in the early morning hours after receiving a 3:00 a.m. call to report a vehicle burglary in the area, according to information received by Historic City News today.

Crime Stoppers tip leads to arrest of ATM burglar

This afternoon, Sergeant Catherine Payne reported to Historic City News that detectives in the Northeast District were able to identify and arrest the woman they say attempted to burglarize Regions Bank located at 240 Ponte Vedra Park Drive on March 15, 2014.
