Help identify armed convenience store robber
Robbery detectives at the St Johns County Sheriff’s Office have informed local Historic City News reporters that they are searching for a man who is believed to be white, approximately 5’11″ to 6’2″ tall, light brown hair, possibly in his late teens to mid-twenties, with a lean build. They say the man burglarized one convenience store and robbed another in the Ponte Vedra Beach area this weekend.



St Johns County Fire Rescue reported to Historic City News that a total of 72 patients were treated at the Gentlemen of the Road tour Friday by county personnel and other medical personnel on the scene.
Historic City News editor Michael Gold traveled to the Flagler County Detention Facility this afternoon to witness the return of the man investigators say fired the three shots from a SKKY 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol that killed a Palm Coast convenience store clerk for no apparent reason.
“It is disturbing; it is something that’s unsettling to the community when it occurs,” Flagler County Sheriff Jim Manfre said at a news conference this morning at his office in Bunnell. “We may never know the answer” as to why 25-year-old Joseph Frank Bova II targeted Rosado or Flagler County to execute a 33-year-old mother of six as she worked her shift, alone, at the Mobil Station and convenience store on SR-100, east of I-95.
Historic City News has obtained a copy of the investigative report and affidavit of charges against 25-year-old Joseph Frank Bova II, who was arrested yesterday for the February 21st murder of Zuheily Roman Rosado while she was working as a store clerk at the Mobil Gas Station and convenience store located at 6020 East SR-100 in Palm Coast.
Gretl Plessinger reported to Historic City News that a St Johns County man, trusted for the collection and preservation of evidence as a forensic investigator with the Office of the Medical Examiner, was arrested this morning on charges of official misconduct, dealing in stolen property, and false verification of ownership on a pawnbroker transaction form.
Shoppers beware — Historic City News has been informed that a man and woman, apparently working as a team, are being sought in connection with the theft of two wallets; picked from the purses of separate victims at two local grocery stores last Friday.
