An ongoing investigation into child pornography produced sufficient evidence to obtain a search warrant; after detectives determined someone in the home at 3335 Pacetti Road in St Augustine was involved in obtaining child pornography from the Internet.

An arrest was reported to Historic City News today of the person law enforcement authorities say committed the armed robbery at the Kangaroo convenience store located at Marlin Road and the 100 block of SR-A1A on Sunday, September 15th.

A registered St Johns County sexual offender living in Flagler Estates was taken into custody Sunday night and remains in custody in lieu of $1,012,000 bond; accused of sexual assault against a 16-year-old girl who had been dropped off at his residence by her grandmother for an overnight visit with a friend.
