A thirty year-old “exotic dancer” at the Jacksonville Gold Club was arrested this morning in St. Augustine — but not before putting up a fight that landed her two third-degree felony charges for battery on an officer, firefighter, or EMT and a first degree misdemeanor charge for resisting arrest.

The latest teenagers to be arrested are charged with the burglary of the home of a 44 year-old former Nease High School teacher in the 1200 block of Loch Tanna Loop in Fruit Cove.

Deputies have made three arrests in a Wynfield Circle burglary that happened shortly before 3:00 a.m. Monday morning, according to a report received by Historic City News.

Historic City News learned from Sheriff David B. Shoar’s office that five St. Johns County teenagers are in custody in connection with several car and home burglaries that occurred in Marsh Creek and other St. Augustine Beach locations in early September.

Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies were busy yesterday, according to word received by Historic City News this morning from spokesperson Debra Johnson reporting gunfire at a Palm Coast home, and, in a separate incident, the armed robbery of a local liquor store.

Sheriff’s representative Kevin Kelshaw told Historic City News that a 43 year-old St. Johns County man who was wanted in connection with the death of another driver in January, was placed under arrest in Jacksonville today.

“This residence was used as a drug house where people came to do their drugs,” said Flagler County Sheriff Donald W. Fleming in Palm Coast today. “It is a community menace and we will return until we close it down permanently.”

Chief Loran Lueders announced to Historic City News local reporters that the Florida Department of Law Enforcement has opined that in the recent arrest of St. Augustine City Commissioner Errol D. Jones, “everything was handled properly”.
