A St. Johns County jury ended deliberation this afternoon and local Historic City News reporters were in the courtroom when the verdict was read; finding that Diane Santarelli is not guilty of manslaughter.

Public Information Officer Debra Johnson told local St. Johns County reporters with Historic City News that Corporal Jamie Roster has been named the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office “Law Enforcement Officer of the Year”.

Historic City News reporters were notified that the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 44 year-old man on charges stemming from a traffic crash on March 20th of this year which claimed the life of Jeanne Aramini, 76, of St. Augustine.

A fight over the use of a car yesterday afternoon ended up with a 75 year-old man being treated for a stab wound and his son being jailed on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Last Tuesday, local reporters at Historic City News were on hand as law enforcement officers who died in the line-of-duty were honored during a ceremony at the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office during National Police Week.
