Historic City News has learned that the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office is holding three men in custody following an early morning strong-arm robbery that occurred in the area of Jellison Road in St Augustine Beach.

The long July 4 weekend is expected to draw large crowds to Flagler County’s beaches and Flagler County Sheriff Donald W. Fleming is urging residents and visitors to take a few precautions to protect themselves and their possessions while they celebrate.

Historic City News reporters learned that late yesterday afternoon, another attempt was made by St. Augustine Shores Service Corporation employees to have Shores’ resident Keith Goldstein arrested.

After four months of review by the State Attorney’s Office, it has been decided that Keith Goldstein will not be prosecuted on sworn affidavits from five people at the Riverview Club who allege that he had become more and more aggressive in his harassment of them.
