City says county responsible for Galimore

At last night’s regular meeting of the St. Augustine City Commission, Historic City News reporters listened as commissioners called for the county to repair the Galimore Center pool and continue to operate it “as vital to the county as a whole.”

Last night, Historic City News editor Michael Gold attended the Judicial Candidate Forum held at the Northeast Florida Regional Airport at St. Augustine — the room should have been wall-to-wall voters from across the 7th judicial circuit, but it wasn’t.

Flagler theater students perform Antigone

Flagler College’s Theatre Arts department reported to Historic City News that they are gearing up to perform Sophocles’ play “Antigone.” Andrea McCook, an associate professor at Flagler, is overseeing the production.
