PAL offers Junior Development Football

The St. Johns County Police Athletic League is offering Junior Development Football for the fall 2008 football season. PAL will be hosting a meeting 7 PM on May 1st at Murray Middle School Auditorium and it is open to anyone who may have a child interested in participating.

Deputy Christopher Jones was called to Prosperity Bank in Ponte Vedra Beach on Friday to take a report concerning six forged payroll checks cashed at the branch over the past two days. Tampered pump results in fuel theft

Last week we ran a story about a drive-off at Pilot Travel Centers on CR 210 where over $400.00 worth of fuel was stolen. This week a more elaborate scheme resulted in the theft of over $1,200.00 worth of fuel — just across the street.
