Wells Fargo unloads MDI Holdings building in Nocatee
Taken in foreclosure by Wells Fargo, the 71,000-square-foot high-tech, high-security office building at 90 Fort Wade Road in Nocatee that was built to house MDI Holdings, has been sold for $10 million, according to a deed recorded with the St Johns County Clerk of Court.



Historic City News has learned that the retirement of Fire Chief Mike Arnold is bringing to a close a 30-year career with the St Augustine Fire Department; concluding with nearly seven years as fire chief.
According to news reports, verified by Historic City News through the Duval County Clerk of Court, St Johns County resident Richard R. Willich sold 17 acres of vacant residential land in the Julington Creek area in a land sale valued at $1.1 million. Willich was represented in the transaction by Walchle Lear Multifamily Advisors in Jacksonville Beach.
Historic City News reporters have followed more than a few reports indicating that a number of St Johns County businesses have closed in recent months; some have been the victims of the depressed economy while others have followed the death of a key family member. Sadly, some have operated locally for two, or more, generations.
