Musket volley marks the Change of Flags ceremony
On Saturday, December 3rd, Historic City News readers are invited to join hundreds of costumed re-enactors from St. Augustine’s Colonial history as they perform military drills, and cannon and musket firing on the grounds of the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument.



Historic City News readers attending the Nights of Lights today, and every Saturday in December, can leave their vehicle in a safe satellite parking lot and be chauffeured to the Visitor Information Center courtesy of the City of St Augustine.

A 42-Year-Old Altoona, Pennsylvania man was killed Thanksgiving morning after being struck by a passing tractor trailer on US-1 South near St Augustine Shores. This is the second such death in the last week.
