Bartram teen in critical condition – two sent to hospital

Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw informed local Historic City News reporters this afternoon that two Bartram Trail High School students, confirmed by deputies to have been involved in racing another vehicle, have been involved in a high-speed crash; both teens were injured — one critically.

Police searching for convenience store burglar

In the early morning hours yesterday, Historic City News was informed that a burglar broke into the Welcome Food Mart located at 224 San Marco Avenue in North City; although his identity is unknown, police have provided a surveillance video clip in the hopes that one of our readers may be able to assist.

City okays favored use of Visitor Center

On a 4-0 vote by members of the St Augustine City Commission Monday night, a Memorandum of Agreement was approved that will establish a kiosk in the Visitor Center where tickets will be sold by the privately owned Colonial Quarter Museum and the University’s new First Colony exhibit, opening in the renovated Government House.
