St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce President Robin Burchfield, reported to the St. Johns County local news desk at Historic City News that a donation has been made to the International Business Academy at Ponte Vedra High School.

Flagler College reported to the local St. Augustine news desk that Professor of Sociology, Dr. Casey Welch, will host a screening of a biography of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and a discussion of the civil rights movement with a question-and-answer session including local activists and historians.

Homeless Coalition monthly general meeting

Jacquelyn R. Harris-Rude, President of the Board of Directors of Emergency Services and Homeless Coalition of St. Johns County, invited Historic City News readers interested in the plight of the homeless to attend this Thursday’s meeting.
