First Lady’s Spring Tea returns to Markland House
Donning brightly-colored spring dresses and in-between sips of hibiscus tea, local ladies at Flagler College’s “First Lady’s Spring Tea” tipped their plumed hats to an elegant throwback on Tuesday.

The St. Augustine Art Association informed local Historic City News reporters that they will hold five summer art camp sessions starting next month.

Historic City News recounts that the family of Leo C. Chase, Sr., has been a part of the St Augustine community for generations. Recently, the spirit of his son, Leo C. Chase, Jr., was remembered by Vietnam Veterans of America when the local chapter was renamed in his honor.
Investing in Kids Director Marcia Poston announced to Historic City News reporters that the local support organization has received a $4,000 donation from the St Augustine Lions Club to be used to fund its student scholarship program, “Take Stock in Children”.
St Johns County Commission Chair, Rachael Bennett, reported to Historic City News this morning that the results of the private telephone survey regarding the collection of an additional one-cent sales tax will come before the commission on May 19, 2015.
