Scott Eastman reported to Historic City News that Sea Turtle Patrol volunteers Tom Barry and George DeMarino spotted the first loggerhead turtle nest of the season at the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve early this morning.
More than 200 painters and guests attended an opening reception for the 24th annual Oil Painters of America exhibition Friday night at Cutter & Cutter Gallery in St Augustine.
Paul Williamson, director of public affairs for the City of St Augustine, announced to local Historic City News reporters that the 25th season of free Concerts in the Plaza will kick off on May 28th with The Driftwoods; performing bluegrass with a touch of swing.
